To the girl going through Recruitment:

Hey beautiful girl! I am so proud of you for deciding to go through recruitment this fall! I know that you are probably feeling a million different emotions. You may feel nervous, overwhelmed, excited, anxious, happy, sad, or a mix of all of those at once. I am praying for you as you begin this exciting adventure. College is the best time of your life. You will make the best friends and make some of the BEST memories. I pray that you will trust that everything happens for a reason. You are exactly where you’re meant to be!

Do not ever forget to rest in the fact that God has your whole life planned out perfectly. There will be tears, laughter, anxiety, fear, joy, and so many other feelings, but all of these emotions are only shaping you into the woman you are meant to be in this life.

I am praying that you remember these three things this week:

1. I am praying that you will not forget your worth. You are worth so much more than what any sorority thinks about you. You are made in the image of the King of the universe. He made you perfect & you should never let anyone or anything make you feel unworthy.

2. God is using YOU as a tool to build his kingdom. You will have met so many girls at the end of this process… no matter the outcome. God is giving you the opportunity to be a light in the darkness. You are to go and make disciples. This is your mission field!! Take any opportunity you can to share the love of Jesus with the girls around you.

3. You are loved. You are beautiful. You are deserving. You are capable. You are strong. You are exactly where you are meant to be. You have so many people rooting for you this week. Be yourself! Allow yourself to be vulnerable. Be open minded about new friendships. Try to make the most of this week because you will never get this chance again!

I seriously can’t wait to watch you thrive this week and these next four years. You just don’t have any idea what’s coming!!
